If the rumors are to be believed, Apple could be working on a pair of over-ear headphones called the AirPods Studio. The headphones are rumored to be announced at Apple’s iPhone event which is supposed to be scheduled for next week, and in the meantime, the company seems to be getting ready for their launch.

According to a report from Bloomberg, it appears that Apple’s stores have apparently stopped selling quite a number of third-party headphones and speakers from the likes of Logitech, Sonos, and Bose. Given what we know, Apple doesn’t have any beef with either of these companies so the removal doesn’t seem to have anything to do with bad relations.

Instead, it has been speculated that Apple could be removing these third-party products to give its own AirPods Studio more focus. There have been rumors that Apple could even be planning a HomePod mini, but that remains to be seen.

Apple does have a bit of history when it comes to competing products. Back in 2014, Apple actually removed Fitbit products from its store ahead of the Apple Watch’s launch, so in a way, this is kind of to be expected. Apple has yet to officially announce when their next event will be held, but if it is to be held next week, we should be able to expect an invite soon.
