One of the cool features of Apple’s new Magic Keyboard accessory for the iPad Pro is that it comes with a built-in trackpad. This essentially turns the tablet into a laptop hybrid of sorts, perfect for those on the go who want a device that they can do some work on, but at $300, it is a tough pill to swallow.

However, there is some good news because if you want a keyboard accessory that also comes with a trackpad, Brydge has recently announced the Brydge 11 MAX+ keyboard accessory. This is designed for both the 11-inch iPad Pro and 4th gen iPad Air. It comes with a trackpad, backlit keys, a case that lets the iPad snap to it magnetically, and according to the company, offers zero lag and connects instantly with the iPad.

However, unlike the Magic Keyboard, Brydge’s keyboard will use Bluetooth as its connection of choice, but we imagine that the differences might not be noticeable to most users. The overall design of the Brydge 11 MAX+ is also pretty sleek so you don’t have to worry about it looking too out of place.

As for the price, the Brydge 11 MAX+ isn’t exactly what we would call cheap, but given the functionality, at $199 it is a cheaper option compared to what Apple has to offer.
