When Apple first announced the Apple Watch Series 7, they did not mention when the watch would be available. This seemed to be in line with earlier rumors suggesting production issues and delays that could affect the watch’s availability. Recently, there was a rumor from Jon Prosser claiming that the device could begin shipping mid-October.

If this is true, that means that pre-orders should take place before that, and now we know when that might be. According to a report from AppleTrack, it seems that Hermes has been sending out emails to its customers to let them know that the device is expected to be available for pre-order on the 8th of October.

Why from Hermes, you ask? In case you weren’t aware, Hermes and Apple have worked together in the past on Apple Watch bands. We haven’t heard anything about the partnership dissolving, so it stands to reason that Hermes could continue making Apple Watch bands for the Series 7, and that they might have been given the dates for pre-orders so that they can get their bands ready.

None of this is official, obviously, and we’ve seen companies jump the gun before, so maybe don’t get your hopes up just yet, but we should have more details next week.
