JVC Full HD 3D LCD Monitor

JVC has rolled out its 46″ full HD 3D LCD monitor which is touted to offer “a natural, flicker-free visual experience” in 3D. JVC claims that there is a sizeable demand for 3D monitors, especially in the movie production, promotion and broadcasting test event industries, hence coming up with the GD-463D10 model that will utilize the Xpol polarizing filter method which allocates images for the right and left eye to the odd and even-numbered horizontal lines of the screen. Viewers will need to use a pair of dedicated circular polarization glasses so that the 3D effect can be fully realized. Other features of the GD-463D10 include a trio of HDMI input terminals that can handle standard HD signals as well. JVC plans to roll out only 2,000 of these each year, so don’t expect the average home to own one of these.
