Flatshare Fridges take The Lego Approach

Taking a cue from Ikea’s flatpack philosophy, the stackable Flatshare Fridges designed by Stefan Buchberger ought to be a hit in dorms worldwide should it ever enter production. Stefan is a student at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, where his Flatshare Fridges will come in a wide range of colors and can be customized in many configurations, since each fridge brick is much smaller compared to the traditional fridge. This results in less energy required to cool down its innards alongside letting less cold air escape each time the door is opened by hungry stomachs. No idea on whether this will be available from manufacturing lines in the near future – leave an aye or nay in the comments if this has caught your eye.
