apple logoWatches on its own tend to be marketed as a fashion accessory, but smartwatches on the other hand tend to be marketed as an electronic gadget, and for the most part don’t look very fashionable. However according to reports and speculation, Apple is set to position their upcoming Apple Watch in a more fashionable manner, and what better way to do that than to have it displayed in high-end retail stores in one of the fashion capitals of the world, Paris?

According to various French news outlets, it seems that Apple is reportedly gearing up to set up Apple Watch booths inside some of the more high-end and luxurious retailers in Paris. These booths could potentially be set up inside the likes of Galeries Lafayette on the Champs Elysees. In fact word has it that there is construction going on inside the store at the moment with the project being overseen by Apple’s Retail Senior VP Angela Ahrendts.

This kind of setup seems to be kind of familiar. This isn’t the first time we have seen Apple products being sold inside a retail store not of their own making where a couple of tables/booths will display Apple’s range of mobile and computer products. However to position the upcoming Apple Watch in a high-end store would be an interesting direction. In fact recently the Apple Watch was spotted on the upcoming cover of Self Magazine which we took as a sign of its fashion career.
