samsung adDoing a quick search on Google for the iPhone 6s (presumably Apple’s next-gen iPhone) should return results for either the iPhone 6 or rumors about the iPhone 6s. In fact the last thing one might expect to find is a listing for the Samsung Galaxy S6, right? As it turns out that is what has happened.

This is according to a screenshot captured by Redditor jon_reed where it shows that when searching for the iPhone 6s, it returned a result which is clearly an ad for the Galaxy S6. In fact not only is this clearly an ad, but it was clearly done on purpose as you can tell from the caption which says, “Awkward You Obviously – Mean S6 – samsung.com.”

Now we can’t tell how real that ad is because we’ve tried searching for the iPhone 6s on our end and we have not encountered any such ad ourselves. It might be a mobile-only ad or maybe something else will trigger the display of the ad. Either way if it is a fake it certainly looks like a pretty good one, but then again given Apple and Samsung’s rivalry, it certainly wouldn’t be a complete surprise to learn that it might be the real deal. What say you?
