A lot of us when we’re out and about wear headphones, like during the commute to school or work, or when we’re waiting for friends, or when we’re exercising. However sometimes these headphones can be troublesome to carry around, especially if you don’t have a bag to put them in. This means you either wear them around your neck all day, or stuff them into your pocket where they’ll invariably end up tangled.

Enter the Helix. This is a wearable cuff designed to look stylish while at the same time playing host to a Bluetooth headphone. This lets you store the headphones when not in use while at the same time acting as a stylish fashion accessory. The Helix is brought to you by a company called Ashley Chloe who names Mika Nenonen as its chief designer, with his previous jobs being at companies such as Nest and Nokia.

Now admittedly it would have been much cooler if the band itself could also act as a fitness tracker. After all it has been designed to look like one, but unfortunately it isn’t and that’s pretty much our only gripe with it. We can’t attest to the sound quality of the headphones, but if you love the idea and the convenience it offers you, then pop on over to its Kickstarter page where you can pledge your support and nab one Helix for yourself when it has been successfully funded.
