With the Samsung Galaxy S8+ sporting a 6.2-inch display, we have heard that Samsung could be looking to make its upcoming Note 8 handset slightly larger at 6.3-inches to 6.4-inches, which is larger than any Galaxy Note handset that Samsung has released to date, although its bezel-less design should help it feel less monstrous in your hands.

Now if you’re trying to get an idea of how big the phone could be, a recent photo uploaded onto Weibo (via The Android Soul) shows off the Note 8’s display panel and compares it against that of the iPhone 8, or alleged iPhone 8. We have no idea if these display panels are genuine, but if they are, it does give us an idea of how big the Note 8 will be.

According to the rumors, the iPhone 8 will allegedly be an in-between the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus in terms of display size, where it will sport a 5-inch display, which might be seen as some as a happy middle between the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display sizes of the iPhones. If that is true, then the Note 8 will measure 1.3- to 1.4-inches larger than the iPhone 8, which we guess is pretty obvious judging from the photo to the right.

However like we said, we have no idea if these components are the real deal so it’s hard to tell if the comparisons are accurate, but in all fairness the components do look similar to what we’ve seen in the leaks, so maybe they could be real.
