Last month there was a rumor that Apple could be planning a star-studded event for the 25th of March. The company is expected to launch its new streaming service and it was also rumored that many celebrities could be in attendance. Whether or not that is true remains to be seen, but at the very least Apple has confirmed that they are hosting such an event.

The company has officially announced that come 25th of March, they will be hosting an event aptly named, “It’s Show Time”. Based on the name it is pretty much a giveaway that it will be about the company’s upcoming streaming service. Not much is known about the service for now, but some claim that Apple’s original content could be released for free for device owners, and they will also have the option to subscribe to other services as well. Exactly how this will work out is unclear, but we should find out soon enough.

Apple has also been rumored to be planning other kinds of services too, such as a revamped news service which could combine news and magazines, which is one of the reasons why Apple had acquired the Texture magazine subscription service. We’re also unsure if this event could potentially unveil new hardware, especially since devices like the iMac have yet to be updated for nearly 2 years now.

In any case we should have all the official details soon, so do check back with us in the coming weeks if you’d like to learn more about what Apple has to offer.
