We know that the Apple Watch Series 5 is expected to arrive later this year, but could the first images of the upcoming smartwatch have leaked already? In a post that was shared on Slashleaks, it shows a photo of an Apple Watch bearing the model number A2157, which is apparently the designated model number for the Apple Watch Series 5.

The photo was originally posted on Instagram by French Instagramer Steven Huon. It is unclear how accurate the photo is as it is easy to manipulate images these days. However, it is also somewhat believable because back in 2018, Apple updated the design of the Apple Watch to give it a slightly larger display.

This means that it seems unlikely that Apple will be redesigning the Apple Watch again so quickly, so there is a chance that the photo we are looking at could be the Series 5. There is no word on when the Apple Watch Series 5 will be announced, but Apple is expected to host an event in September for the iPhone 11, so perhaps we might hear about the smartwatch then as well.

One of the recent reports we’ve heard is that the Apple Watch Series 5 could also be offered in a titanium and ceramic finish, in addition to the aluminum and stainless steel options already being offered.
