According to a report from last month, it was suggested that Apple could unveil their next-gen Apple Watch in September. However, it has now been suggested that will not be the case. A tweet by @L0vetodream is claiming that Apple will not be announcing a new Apple Watch this month.

While the tweet does not mention when the Apple Watch Series 6 will be announced, it will most likely be in October. This is because the latest rumors are claiming that Apple will be hosting an iPhone event in the second half of October, and presumably Apple will be taking that opportunity to announce the Series 6 then.

Apple typically announces updates to the Apple Watch at their iPhone events, so it did seem strange that the rumors claimed that it would take place separately. If anything, the speculation that it could launch in October makes a lot more sense.

Apple’s Series 6 will be a rather interesting one if the rumors are true. This is because Apple will apparently be introducing two models. One will be the regular Apple Watch Series 6, and the other could be a cheaper version designed to replace the Series 3 as Apple’s more affordable smartwatch. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully Apple will have an invite going out soon.
