Many are undoubtedly excited to see what Samsung has to unveil at MWC 2021 next week. This is because if you recall, at Google I/O 2021 last month, Google announced that they would be collaborating with Samsung to revamp its Wear OS platform, combining the best of both Wear OS and Tizen together for some super wearables platform.

That being said, if you were curious about the fruits of that partnership, the folks at GizNext have teamed up with leakster OnLeaks to create renders of what the alleged Samsung smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch Active 4, could look like, although we have to say that it is a bit disappointing since it doesn’t seem to have strayed too far from the design of the Galaxy Watch Actived 2.

The main difference, at least based on the renders, would be the lugs of the watch, but other than that, it doesn’t look too different. Whether or not this is good or bad thing depends on your personal preference, and we suppose the main thing to look out for would be the software of the smartwatch.

Like we said, many are excited because Google’s announcement at I/O 2021 left out a lot of details, so many are at the very least curious to see how big of a change we are talking about. Either way, hopefully we’ll have more details next week so check back with us then for more updates.
